Where to begin depends on what you want to do.

A firmware developer	The toolchain, then the SPA3000's peripherals and start-up
A compiler developer	The ABI and the LLVM fork
Someone with an adapter and a multimeter	The SPA3000's hardware, whose open questions are mostly measurements
The owner of another ES38xx device	The processor and the toolchain

Before you flash a board

An image of our own replaces the stock application. Once it is installed, the unit has no network, and the reliable way back is to reprogram the flash chip. Don't flash a unit unless you have a flash programmer and can afford to lose the unit. Read the blink example's README first.

How to help

Each spec ends with a table of open questions, and says what would answer each one. Many need only a multimeter, a logic analyser or a careful look at a board. See Contributing.
